Philatelic Council Inc. (“WAPC”) under the auspices of the Australian Philatelic Federation (“APF”)

The Swan River Stamp Show has been chosen by the Australia China Friendship Society as the only place in Western Australia where this travelling display will be shown. The display has been seen in Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide. The display consists of 12 panels of stamps issued from 1950 to 1975 and is arranged to show on stamps China’s Industrial Achievements, its Agriculture, Women in China, Postal Services, Sport, Historcal relics, butterflies among many others.

The Swan River Stamp Show is open on 8th & 9th October from 10.00 am to 4.00pm each day. Besides the China display there is a Gold Medal display of the Stamps of Western Australia, plus another 1500 sheets of stamps in various competitive displays, stamp and coin dealers buying and selling, an auction each day and a children’s corner. Children are admitted free but adults pay $3 per day. Information from
